thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe serves the important markets of eastern Europe from the town of Dąbrowa Górnicza in southern Poland. The local presence provides closeness to its customers and expresses an even stronger orientation towards serving customers. In addition to thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe, thyssenkrupp Energostal has established itself under the roof of the biggest steel logistics and service center of thyssenkrupp in eastern Europe of an area of around 75,000 m².

Customers in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Ukraine are supplied with first class flat steel products from here. In these markets customer groups that have especially high demands for steel products regarding surface quality and dimensional compliance will be addressed. They include automotive makers, automotive suppliers, press shops, manufacturers and suppliers for household appliances.

Established in 2007, the steel service center processes hot strip, cold rolled and surface treated fine sheet. The slitting unit produces slit strip-also in visible surface quality-in thicknesses from 0.4 to 4 mm and in widths from 10 to 1,800 mm.
